Happy 4th of July

We spent the 4th of July in Montana.  And it was awesome.

The highlight of the weekend was a baby shower.  Since it was just family (and BF Kim) I was expecting some food on the deck… nothing fancy.  Of course, my mom and sister exceeded by expectations!

IMG_0508 IMG_0507 IMG_0505 IMG_0504The decor was adorable and the food was delicious!  We played a couple games (I was the slowest to diaper a baby and my sister was the fastest… I hope she comes to visit!!) and enjoyed everyone’s company. Kim is due in just a few weeks with her second baby.  I can’t believe my belly is going to keep growing to that size! Eeepp!

IMG_0511Before we left on our trip, Jake finished brewing two batches of beer (they were a huge hit!) and we also picked lots of blueberries off of our first producing blueberry bush.  Unfortunately, the birds found the trees right after that so any remaining berries were toast.  We are going to have to put some bird netting up to keep the pests out so we can continue to reap the harvest from our other bushes.

Here is to many more years of wedded bliss!
